Vivek Anand Parachur is the Co-founder and CEO of Olene. Prior to Olene, Vivek was a successful Corporate Executive having served in various roles at Merck Millipore in the US and India. Vivek holds an engineering degree from Anna University in Guindy, Chennai and an MBA from D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University in Boston. Vivek is also a serial investor and has invested in several early stage start-ups. Vivek is a voracious reader and loves traveling.
Dr. Somashekara Nirvanashetty
CO-FOUNDER & CSO
Somashekara (Somu) is the Co-founder and CSO of Olene. Somu is a biochemist with extensive experience in research and development, primarily in the innovation and development of platform technologies. He holds a postgraduate degree from Kuvempu University (J.J.M. medical college) and a doctorate degree from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia (in joint collaboration with IIT-Madras, India). Prior to Olene, Somu served in various research positions in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and agrifood companies where he was involved in developing novel technologies.
